Toyota 3VZ-E 3.0L Engine

The Toyota 22RE was the successor of the 22R, and it is one of the most popular and longest running engines in Toyota's history. Toyota even turbo charged the 22RE in the 22RET 2.4L engine from 1985-1988.
The vehicles that use the 22RE, such as the Toyota Pickup and 4Runner, are generally well loved, heavily driven, desirable, and harder to find.

Toyota 3RZ 2.7L Engine

The Toyota has always been conscious of engine performance. The Toyota 2RZFE is no exception. The 2RZ 2.4L is and economic engine that is the work horse for all 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma 4x2, replacing the 22R-E.

The Toyota 3RZ and 2RZ are functionally the same. The main difference is the Toyota 3RZ has larger displacement, making it a 2.7L. As the saying goes, "There's no replacement for displacement."
The Toyota 3RZ 2.7L engines large displacement over the 2RZ made its performance and power suitable tor Toyota 4x4 platforms such as, the Tacoma 4x4, 4Runner, and T100.

Toyota 5VZ-FE 3.4L Engine       Toyota 1GR-FE 4.0L Engine

The Toyota 5VZFE 3.4 liter V6 engine called released in 1995. The 5VZ was developed for Toyota SUVs and off-road 4x4 vehicles. The 5VZ-FE engine is based on the 3VZ-FE engine. The cast iron cylinder block is similar to the Toyota 3VZ-FE but it has a bigger bore to achieve the bigger displacement 3.4 liters from 3.0 liter.
